We're Top Notch Tree Service, and we've been a premier tree service based in Pocatello, ID, since 1973. Our Story

Our owners, brothers Dirk and Chad, have been in the tree world since their child hood, growing up around the business and developing a passion for trees and nature. The sibling’s father transitioned to contract work after working on the railroad and put in a bid to trim trees, and has been doing trees ever since. Top Notch Tree Service was established in 1973 by their father, before being handed down to Dirk and Chad. The proud tradition and culture of their business that has been blooming for fifty years continues, as the siblings and their father still work together every day with a passion and excitement that burns stronger as time goes on.

We are an ISA Certified Arborist, and we proudly serve a 50-mile radius so we can be there for you, wherever you need us. We care about trees and the experience they can add to our lives. We specialize in tree trimming, tree pruning, and tree removal services that will have your property looking exactly how you envision it. We always encourage our customers to plant quality trees, and continually maintain their trees to keep them healthy and strong. We also provide storm cleanup services and products such as firewood and mulch to provide a more comprehensive element to our business.
